Hi Tim

Thanks for getting in touch! Great to hear the real ale sales are booming, we'll try and pop in over the Christmas period when Alan and I will no doubt be in Banbury.

I'm not sure I'm best placed to advise you on what beers to sell (I'd only be hugely subjective!) but would say that I believe it's important that shops such as yourselves sell quality local beer (a prime example being that I would struggle to buy Sam Smith's beers in Leeds if weren't for the local organic and local beer & wine merchant).

I'd say a couple of good bets would be Purity Brewing (Warwickshire), Bath Ales (you guessed it, Bath!) and Marble from Manchester (although less local!)

In fact, my beer swap beers are coming from South Oxfordshire so I might be able to recommend other local beers once I've had those!

Hello,
I'm the beer buyer at S H Jones, we have a more extensive range of beers available at our larger Bicester Shop, however I do agree it would be nice to have more space for beer. Our sales certainly point to it being a possibility with Real Ale sales going through the roof. However we are where we are, we've recently added the very good Ridgeway Brewery to our range (we stock their entire range) and will continue to look out for new brews in the New Year - anything we ought to be looking for?
