Halcyon is a beautiful beer. I've managed to drink a couple of bottles, had it on cask and had a special extra hoppy min-keg of the stuff. Just glorious and I can't wait for this year's batch!

This is one of my favourite hoppy hits, i was introduced to it by beermerchants on twitter, that i shal thank him for!

It took me completely by surprise as i wasn't sure what to expect, its in my top 10 and i'd seriously love to try it on draft!

if you've not tried the others from thornbridge, like bracia and jaipur then it's worth tracking them down.

An excellent beer indeed. Looking forward to this year's version as Thornbridge intend to brew annually with tweaks here and there. Will still be hoppy, though ;-)

British US-style IPA is out there and well worth trying; Moor JJJ IPA is another barnstormer of a beer that's a must for UK hopheads to try.

If only we could persuade Dark Star to bottle something adventurous...
