Can't see them reaching the target somehow, unless there are more mugs out there than i thought! Seriously though, the whole ' groundbreaking' announcement that will change the world was a bit much. If you can't raise funding through private business channels without openly begging consumers for it then the business case can;t be that strong. In fact the entire OTT nature of Brewdog is wearing thin and I'm not sure i'm really interested in where they will take the brand. Global domination is never a good thing as we all know from past experience of the big brewers. Some of their beers are good, some are down right terrible, i wish them luck but hope they get a grip on what they are doing and the impression they are leaving.

It seems to me that the BrewDog Equity for Punks offer is subjective i.e., it isn't for everyone. If you buy into the BrewDog idea(l), I do, this is a fun, and somewhat reasonable offer. For example, you like BrewDog beer you're going to buy it - should you buy a case a month for the next 36 months you'll make up your 230; assuming you've bought one share.

The concept is innovative and for those BrewDog fans that would like more access to the beer, this is a relatively safe route. A new brewery? Eco-friendly? 20% off all future orders ordered through BrewDog.com?

All that and they have consistently produced very good beer (totally digging the Hardcore). These guys are in it for the long haul...maybe an idea(l) to consider.
